Integrative work-life coaching and consulting for career-oriented folks

Is coaching for me?

Is coaching for me?

We talk about work-life balance, but what we call “work” and “life” is different for everyone—and changing all the time. At the same time, you are ultimately one whole person.

How you live, your support network, your job, and other factors all create different opportunities and challenges when it comes to making changes stick.

Our goal is to help you build a resilient, purposeful, and vibrant life on your own terms, through integrative exploration, self-definition, and support.

We support people who identify with one or more of the following groups.

Who we support

Technology workers

All industries have their unique nuances and norms. Whether working with people or building systems, you work in environments that have particular stressors: extremely fast-changing, low stability (e.g. roles and projects change often), high ambiguity, and work that is “in the head” vs. in the body. You may be an analytical or categorical thinker by nature, and you want support from someone who is able to speak your language.

Business professionals

Work is a significant part of your life, and you take your professional development seriously. You may find it difficult to “turn off” work at home. You’re curious about different work structures, roles, and employment formats, but aren’t sure how to approach a change. You’re the person who figures things out and gets things done. You want a consistent professional relationship that can support you not only in your current job, but in future roles and projects.

New managers and leaders

A promotion changes dynamics at home and work more dramatically than we anticipate. You may be an expert in your field or function, but need extra support building expertise in the social-emotional-cultural aspects of work, streamlining your focus, developing your team, hiring, and communicating with other leads in your organization. You may have existing resources at work, or work on a team that is small. Either way, you feel you would benefit from external support.

Founders, entrepreneurs, independent consultants

Your work-life is naturally merged, and you may experience high pressure meeting not only the needs of family, but also of your employees and community. You want to speak with someone who is familiar with the full scope of activities involved in running a company, from product and service development and sales to operational admin, and who can support your decision-making. You could use transitional support through major business events, like growth, restructures, and new product launches. (Consulting also available.)

Neurodivergent folks

You are highly sensitive or intense. You can solve complex problems easily, but simple problems can be more difficult. You have different ways of relating and socializing. You take in a lot of information from your environment, which can overwhelm. You have different nervous system needs to feel healthy. You need practical support understanding your cognitive profile and needs, and traditional therapy feels ineffective or limited. You may have hybrid or multiple interests and skills.

Minorities

Being the “only one like you” in an environment can be stem from many factors. Whatever the cause, it can create unique stressors that result from isolation and other social disconnects.

We are also familiar with common experiences of: women and gender non-conforming folks, LGBTQIA+ folks, people of color, multiracial and multiethnic folks, and multiple minorities.
